Collection: Caldas Ceramics

Dating back to the beginning of the 19th century, Caldas da Rainha has been known as the unofficial capital of Portuguese ceramics. Production of ceramics began early in the 1820’s when it was discovered that the surrounding soil was rich in clay. Common motifs found often represent cabbage leaves, fruits, fish and other naturistic designs. Combining utility and design, these ceramics are the perfect addition to any tablescape.
